Andover Norvil Footrest Kit
The genuine Novil Production Racer Footrest Kit. Even the Hemmings kits, the most faithful and original reproductions so far, deviated in detail from the originals.
Thanks to owning a genuine 1970 Production Racer we could copy those parts from original items for which no drawings existed.
This is most probably the most faithful reproduction of the original Proddy Race footrest kits that were produced not far from our premises partly in our road, partly in Thruxton.
We will publish a better picture with the kit fitted next week.

Made by hand to replicate exactly the very special mudguard of the 105 genuine Norvil Production Racers (beware of imitations!) manufactured in North Way/Andover and Thruxton in the early 1970s. This part took three years to make from the "go" for the project until we laid hands on the finished item!

The Move, 14th to 19th October. "The best laid plans" etc.
Our MD Karl had hoped to get the whole move done within a week and planned it all thoroughly and well. What we did not realize was how much stock was squeezed into our old stores in Brunel Gate over the years. The flood of goods seemed neverending. I now know what our stock figure is based on- and that after writing a lot off! After a full week of hard and constant work by the whole Andover Norton Team plus hired help we have now emptied the shelves in Brunel Gate. We haven't even started on our #2 works, where tooling, surplus and half-finished goods are stored and will probably not start on that before the new year!
We did get the first orders out on Tuesday, 22nd October.

The Roadster/"Peashooter" Silencer to Drawing!
It may seem hard to believe but this is a project which cost us over two years and gave us no end of frustrations!
None of the Roadster silencers we have encountered in the market for many years was to the drawing's spec, i.e. none had the "fluted" tube inside plus the packing that gives that pleasant, deep note and is nicely subdued at the lower end of the rev range.
We can now, at long last, offer the correct specification silencers .
