Having spent her "restricted licence" for a couple of years on her "Babyblue Madness", her 150cc MZ, Katrin wanted a "real" motorcycle after having her full license.
Leftover from the C652 production run was a sole spare frame, a couple of swinging arms, engines, forks, wheels, brakes etc, etc.
"Why don't you build a bike for yourself from it?" her father suggested. And that is exactly what Katrin did.
The only big item that had to be made was the aluminium petrol tank- there was no spare one. Apart from some very small fittings everything else was there, so Katrin spent a few enjoyable weeks on and off assembling her own bike.
