An Easy Rider is an absolute Must for any Norton collection worth its salt. These beauty- and powerful classics were assembled in the Shenstone Norton factory until later the nondescript Norton Rotaries were fumbled together, lamentably detracting the workforce's attention from this gem of global motorcycle design.
The NVT Easy Rider was available in single speed and two speed automatic form and was offered with full luggage basket and touring equipment- legshields and front screen- which, lamentably, was never offered for the other "naked" Norton models.
We were fortunate to find this classic offered on the net, fully restored, so grabbed the opportunity to secure it for our collection. We then put our best test rider, our MD Karl, on it, and let him sample the ample power in our factory yard. He came back weak-kneed and impressed.
The beauty is now the pride of Phil Albutt, our ex-Managing Director. We hope to see it on the open road with our Phil at the helm and if we are lucky and he dares ride it that far he may come up to our next Open day on it!
